The confidence to take responsibility on a day-to-day basis and help the person cope with regular seizures.

You will be responsible for cooking and routine daily tasks like dressing, showering and personal care, however, it is equally important for the person to be encouraged to do as much as possible for herself. Supporting her in such interests as horse riding, swimming and Tai-chi. You will provide motivation, emotional support, and role modelling. As a result, you will get from this - a trusted person in your life who, once you have developed a relationship, will give you back so much more than you could ever expect.

You will be provided with the highest standard of training to support your development in this role. Thistle will support you to achieve the SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, pay for your PVG and SSSC Registration and offer training to support your role as a Wellbeing Practitioner.
