We are recruiting a Locality Leader to work within our Cumbernauld Locality Support Services. If successful, you will work closely with the Locality Manger to ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred support and care packages for individuals with learning disabilities.

You will manage a team who provide support to vulnerable people within our local communities therefore you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills and experience to ensure your team feel supported and motivated to undertake their roles. You will also be involved in a range of HR tasks including recruitment and selection, training and development and employee relations matters and financial budget management arrangements.

A SVQ Level 3/HNC in a relevant discipline is essential together with extended experience of working with people with disabilities. You should be an effective communicator with an understanding of policies, procedures and standards in relation to disability services. It is essential that you can promote and develop socially inclusive support arrangements.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.

This post is temporary for approximately one year.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
