Secondary Teacher English

The ideal candidate will be a qualified English with QTS and a strong academic background in English. They will be a passionate and knowledgeable subject specialist, confident in delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of English while achieving strong outcomes for students. This is a full-time, long-term position for the new academic year, delivering lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) , Key Stage 4 (KS4) and Key Stage 5 desirable. Secondary Supply Teacher role requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Ability to deliver lessons across a range of subjects
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the update service

The successful Secondary Supply Teacher will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Adapt teaching to suit different classroom environments
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
