English Teacher – Experience and Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
A degree in English or a related subject.
Experience teaching English Language and Literature at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience desirable).
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities.
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality English lessons.
Experience planning, delivering and assessing lessons that support excellent student progress.
Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and promoting positive behaviour for learning.
Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
Legal right to work in the UK.
