About you:

• CIPD Level 3 qualified or willing to work towards this qualification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in HR, with knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, and HR systems
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Proficient in HR information systems and MS Office applications
• Full driving licence or access to suitable transportation

What you'll do:

• Provide first-line HR advice and support to staff and management on a range of HR issues
• Assist with recruitment activities, including drafting adverts, shortlisting, and participating in interviews
• Support casework related to sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance, or harassment matters
• Prepare employment contracts, job descriptions, and onboarding/outboarding documentation
• Manage HR enquiries via email and ensure prompt, professional responses
• Support HR projects aimed at service improvement and staff wellbeing initiatives
• Maintain accurate HR records in compliance with data protection legislation
• Liaise with external agencies such as Occupational Health and Labour Relations
