Job description
You will be responsible for the daily supervision of the final assembly lines, ensuring quality, output, efficiency and safety targets are met. You will play a key part in driving, continuous improvement and team performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work with the pre and postproduction engineers to ensure smooth delivery of production.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate final assembly line activities to meet production targets
- Lead, motivate and develop assembly line fitters
- Monitor output, cycle times and performance of your team
- Report issues and help with solutions
- Support the development and maintenance of SOPs
- Training and assisting assembly line fitters
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Minimum 3 years' hands on experience in technical / engineering roles
Desirable Skills
- Strong leadership style with hands on approach
