Salary: £130 - £160 per day for day-to-day supply (Paid to scale for long-term placements including planning/marking)

As an English and Cover Teacher, your day will involve:

• Delivering engaging English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
• Providing high-quality general cover across other subject areas when required, ensuring students remain on task and focused.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with individual school policies.
• For long-term roles: actively planning, preparing resources, assessing pupil work, and participating in departmental progress meetings.

To join our Plymouth teaching pool for September, you must meet the following:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (QTLS with SET membership).
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to different school cultures.
• An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or the willingness to apply for a new one through Randstad).
