Business Support Officer

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Cardiff to assist with the appointment of a Business Support Officer, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay : £14.09 - £18.42 per hour

Summary:

Business Support Officer responsible for tracking statutory checks, maintaining accurate records, preparing assessment documentation, supporting social work processes, and ensuring the smooth coordination of team activities while delivering a high-quality support service.

Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the Fostering Connected Persons and Special Guardianship Assessment Service.
• Monitor and track statutory checks, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
• Prepare, format and maintain assessment reports and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate electronic and manual records in line with service requirements.
• Develop and update information packs for foster carers and kinship carers.
• Coordinate, schedule and organise meetings, appointments and assessments.

Essentials :

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous experience in a Business Support or Administrative role.
  
  
• Experience working within Social Care or Social Work services.
  
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
  
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
• You should have right to work in U.K
• This role requires an  Enhanced  DBS
