We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) to join a specialist school in the Torbay area.
About the Role: Working alongside teachers and support staff, you will play a key role in helping students access learning, develop confidence, and engage positively with school life. Your responsibilities will include: •Supporting students with SEMH on a one-to-one basis and in small groups•Assisting with classroom activities and learning tasks
•Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional development
•Helping to create a calm, structured, and nurturing environment About the School •The school supports students aged 11–16 whose needs cannot be met in mainstream education.
•All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) related to Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

•Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
