An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join an award-winning, independent veterinary hospital in South West London . This progressive and well-equipped hospital is seeking an ambitious and compassionate Theatre or Inpatient Veterinary Nurse to become part of a highly respected clinical team delivering exceptional patient care.
This is an ideal role for an RVN looking to develop advanced nursing skills within a hospital setting, working alongside experienced veterinary surgeons, certificate holders, and specialist diplomates in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will join a dynamic, rotating nursing team , gaining exposure to a varied caseload across theatres, inpatient wards, consultations, and specialist support . The role can be tailored towards a stronger focus in either Theatre Nursing or Inpatient/Wards , depending on experience and clinical interests.
No two days are the same, making this an excellent opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse seeking career progression, advanced clinical exposure, and genuine professional development .
Key Responsibilities
• Delivering exceptional patient care within a busy veterinary hospital environment
• Supporting surgical procedures within theatre and anaesthesia monitoring
• Providing outstanding inpatient nursing care and patient management
• Assisting veterinary surgeons, certificate holders, and specialist diplomates
• Running nurse consultations and client communication where appropriate
• Maintaining high clinical standards and patient welfare at all times
