Credit Controller

Credit Controller – Central Nottingham £35,000+ | 37.5 hours | Excellent benefits SF Partners is working with a fantastic business in Central Nottingham to recruit an experienced Credit Controller on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their ledger, building strong relationships with clients and having real visibility within a business. You’ll work closely with the Finance Director and wider team, with the chance to make an immediate impact from day one. What you’ll be doing: Managing and recovering outstanding debt across your own accounts Building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders Resolving invoice and payment queries quickly and professionally Checking and issuing monthly sales invoices Preparing monthly debtor reports and weekly updates for Directors Maintaining sales invoicing reports and cashflow information Posting customer receipts and recording remittances Supporting with legal recovery action where required Working closely with the Finance Director on ad hoc reporting and analysis What we’re looking for: Strong experience within Credit Control, Sales Ledger or Accounts Receivable Confident communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels A proactive approach to debt collection and query resolution Good Excel skills and confidence using finance systems Xero experience would be an advantage Experience within professional services or construction would be beneficial, but is not essential What’s on offer: Salary of circa £35,000+ 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays 5% employer pension contribution Discretionary performance-related bonus Private medical insurance Life assurance A visible role working closely with senior finance The opportunity to join a supportive, established business where you can really make an impact If you’re an experienced Credit Controller looking for a role where you can take ownership, build strong relationships and be recognised for the value you bring, we’d love to hear from you.
