Production Print Operator

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Production Print Operator to join our client, Henderson Wholesale Print Department, based in Mallusk. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy print production environment, with full training provided and the opportunity to develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with large format print production
• Learning and assisting with cutting materials to shape using the Kongsberg router machine
• Learning and assisting with wide format printing processes
• Packaging completed orders to the required standard
• Ensuring products are prepared correctly for dispatch
• Learning about materials and correct storage procedures
• Maintaining efficient stock organisation
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and free from obstructions
• Disposing of waste materials and offcuts in line with company procedures
• Maintaining machinery and reporting any issues to the Team Leader
• Working as part of a team to achieve production deadlines

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure

Desirable Skills

• Previous production, warehouse or print experience desirable but not essential
