Our client is seeking a passionate Business Teacher to join a thriving secondary academy offering education from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. The successful candidate will deliver Business across KS4 and KS5, contributing to a forward-thinking and high-achieving department. Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers and ECTs who bring enthusiasm, innovation, and a commitment to high-quality teaching.
School Information
This large 11–18 academy is oversubscribed, serving over 1,500 students, and has developed a strong reputation within the Birmingham community. The school has benefited from substantial investment in its facilities, including specialist classrooms equipped with modern ICT suites, business simulation tools, and dedicated spaces for enterprise and entrepreneurship. Learners are encouraged to apply real-world business concepts through enterprise projects, Young Enterprise competitions, and collaborative links with local employers and universities.
Academic performance across the school continues to rise. In 2023, 71% of students achieved grades 9–4 in English and Maths, with a Progress 8 score above the national average. Business and Economics are two of the school’s most popular Sixth Form subjects, with strong GCSE and A-Level outcomes and many students progressing to further study in finance, management, and marketing.

Experience and Qualifications
• Qualified Business Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with the ability to teach at KS4 & KS5
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for Business and Economics
• An enthusiastic and innovative classroom practitioner
• A formal teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE) or equivalent
• Legal right to work in the UK
