Job Overview:

* This school caters for students aged 11–16.
* Full-time, Monday – Friday, English Teacher
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Inspire students through creative and thought-provoking lessons that develop reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills.
* Assess, monitor and track student progress to ensure strong attainment.
* Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school team.
* Contribute to curriculum development, intervention programmes and enrichment opportunities.

What we're looking for:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A degree in English or a related subject.
* Experience teaching English at secondary level across KS3 and KS4.
* A passion for English and the ability to engage, motivate and challenge learners.
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
* A proactive, positive and collaborative approach to teaching.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
