About Communications, Media & Technology at Faculty

Communications, Media & Technology (CMT) is one of the industries we work in; covering telecoms operators, broadcasters, streaming platforms, publishers, and technology companies who are rewiring their businesses around AI. This is not a corporate communications or PR function: it's a client-facing industry practice for people who build and deliver AI in technical settings.

The CMT sector is being transformed by AI at every layer - from the networks that carry data, to the platforms that recommend content, to the advertising models that fund it all. Telcos are under pressure to modernise ageing infrastructure while unlocking new B2B and enterprise revenue streams; broadcasters and streamers are fighting for attention in an oversaturated market where subscriber loyalty can no longer be assumed; and publishers and platforms alike are rethinking how content is created, personalised, and monetised in a world of shrinking attention spans and rising consumer expectations.

We apply AI to the problems that matter most to the sector: optimising network performance and cost, personalising customer experience at scale, reducing churn, building smarter recommendation and advertising engines, and giving leadership teams the confidence to make high-stakes decisions with imperfect information. This means hands-on technical delivery, not brand strategy or external communications, working shoulder-to-shoulder with clients' engineering, data, and product teams to build AI that is safe, robust, and genuinely changes how these businesses operate and grow.

About the role

Join us as a Senior Manager to oversee a critical portfolio of projects, acting as the primary senior point of contact for both clients and internal Faculty teams. You will drive successful delivery, manage project commercial viability, and nurture strong customer relationships. This is an entrepreneurial role where you will identify new business opportunities, develop proposals, and contribute to the growth of the business unit. You will lead and mentor cross-functional teams while acting as a strategic consultant, applying structured thinking to solve complex, real-world problems with Applied AI.

What you'll be doing:

• Overseeing delivery of an end-to-end project portfolio, ensuring high quality, timely completion, and managing commercial margins

• Forming and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with customers, proactively managing expectations and carefully controlling project scope

• Leading effective project meetings and ensuring clear, consistent communication of purpose and direction to both internal teams and clients

• Identifying risks early, and leading teams to implement effective mitigating actions to ensure project success

• Developing compelling proposals and sales pitches to generate new leads and identify opportunities for additional account growth

• Mentoring and developing project team members' skills, aligning their responsibilities with their professional growth

• Advising clients on AI strategy and solutions, while articulating the value of AI in diverse business contexts
