Skilled Operator - PM Shift (Contract Position)

At our Newton Abbot site we are on the lookout for experienced Skilled Operators to join our diverse, friendly and passionate Production Team. 

Our Newton Abbot site is at the forefront of our strategy to provide single serve dessert and ice cream under both Yeo Valley brand and own label offerings. The site plays a unique part in our operations providing unique capabilities in dessert & ice cream manufacture. 

This position offers  the opportunity to play an important part in helping us to deliver our high-quality products to our customers across the UK. You will thrive in a fast-paced production environment, have a ‘can-do’ attitude and strong work ethic.  This role will be based in our manufacturing and production team on the Nights shift, providing an opportunity to learn new skills and further build a career in manufacturing.

We have shifts available from 17:45 to 22:00 and 17:45 to 00:00 available 7 days a week so are open to part time and full time hours. This is a fixed term contract opportunity to 12th December 2026 .

Key responsibilities will include:

• Embracing Health & Safety and Quality requirements.
• Packing of well-known products.
• Operating a wide variety of machinery (filling, packing, forming or CNC machines);
• Demonstrating a commitment to delivery, leading by example; Completing paperwork accurately.
• Application of current GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices);
• Taking apart, cleaning and rebuilding production equipment.

Any other duties as reasonably required.
