About the Role:
- Provide strong leadership and direction for the Psychology department, ensuring its continued growth and success
- Develop and implement a stimulating and engaging curriculum across all key stages
- Lead a team of passionate Psychology teachers, fostering collaboration and professional development
- Contribute to the wider school community, promoting the importance of Psychology in a well-rounded education
- Represent the department at school events and potentially develop outreach programs
The Ideal Candidate:
- A highly qualified and experienced Psychology professional with a proven track record of leadership in a school setting (Masters in Psychology or related field preferred)
- Extensive knowledge of the Psychology curriculum and strong pedagogical skills
- Exceptional leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and empower a team of teachers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
- A genuine enthusiasm for Psychology and a desire to ignite a love for the subject in students
