EYFS Teaching Assistant – Worksop
Academics, Education Agency, are currently recruiting an EYFS Teaching Assistant – Worksop to work on a temporary, supply basis across a variety of local primary schools and early years settings in the Worksop area.
Working hours are typically 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, depending on school requirements.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Supporting learning through play in line with the EYFS framework
* Assisting with personal care, routines, and transitions
* Supporting children’s social, emotional, and educational development
* Working alongside the class teacher and wider EYFS team
In line with the latest Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements, applicants for this EYFS Teaching Assistant role must have:
* A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years or equivalent)
* A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
* A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* The ability to support positive behaviour and meet individual learning needs
* The ability to easily commute across Worksop
Paediatric First Aid training is desirable and may be required for certain settings.
* Pay rate: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications, inclusive of holiday pay
* Contract type: Temporary, supply-based role
