Work with internal teams to understand procurement needs and turn them into clear purchasing plans.
Lead procurement activity from initial requirement through to contract award, keeping stakeholders informed throughout.
Prepare procurement documents that set out requirements, timescales and evaluation criteria clearly.
Run tender processes and support fair, consistent evaluations to help teams select suitable suppliers.
Provide practical procurement advice to colleagues, helping them make informed purchasing decisions.
Build effective working relationships across Procurement & Supply Chain and with service areas.
Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure key documents are available when needed.
Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and make day-to-day purchasing easier for colleagues.
