Role Type: Permanent Part Time

Salary: £28k pro rata (£14.50 p/h)

Are you a natural relationship builder with a passion for making a difference? Do you enjoy bringing people together, creating opportunities and turning great ideas into meaningful results?

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, creative and motivated Corporate Fundraiser to join a dedicated charity supporting children and young people with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions, along with their families.

This is more than just a fundraising position. It's an opportunity to build lasting relationships, develop exciting fundraising initiatives and play a key role in helping a worthwhile cause reach even more families.

Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you'll have the freedom to bring fresh ideas to the table, develop your own network of supporters and see first-hand the positive impact your efforts are making.

Corporate Fundraiser Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and developing strong relationships with corporate partners, businesses, donors and other supporters.
  • Identifying and researching new fundraising opportunities to generate income and support the charity's continued growth.
  • Developing creative approaches to securing donations, sponsorships and ongoing partnerships.
  • Planning, organising and supporting fundraising events, campaigns and community initiatives.
  • Preparing engaging fundraising proposals, grant applications and compelling content to encourage support.
  • Maintaining regular communication with existing donors, ensuring they feel valued and connected to the cause.
  • Working closely with internal teams to understand funding priorities and identify new opportunities.
  • Supporting digital fundraising campaigns, social media activity and other marketing initiatives.
  • Monitoring fundraising activity, maintaining accurate CRM records and contributing to progress reports.
  • Helping deliver fundraising plans and achieve agreed targets.

Corporate Fundraiser Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

We're looking for someone who is confident, personable and proactive, with the enthusiasm to build relationships and inspire others to support a fantastic cause.

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with people at all levels.
  • A natural ability to build relationships, influence others and develop lasting partnerships.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • A creative and resourceful approach to identifying opportunities and developing fundraising ideas.
  • Confidence in presenting ideas, negotiating and encouraging others to get involved.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce engaging proposals and correspondence.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, email and social media platforms.
  • The ability to work independently, manage your own workload and take initiative.
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
  • A genuine passion for charitable work and making a positive difference.

Previous fundraising, business development, account management or marketing experience would be particularly advantageous, although we're equally interested in individuals with strong transferable skills and the right attitude.

Knowledge or experience of supporting children with additional needs or disabilities would also be beneficial, along with a full UK driving licence.

Corporate Fundraiser Benefits:

  • Location: Remote/home-based, with occasional travel to Peterborough and other locations as required.
  • Holiday: 20 days annual leave (pro rata), plus bank holidays.
  • Training & Development: Full induction, ongoing mentoring and access to varied training opportunities.
  • Additional Benefits: Mental health support, Blue Light Card and food provided when working on-site.
  • Supportive Environment: The opportunity to work within a close-knit, passionate team where your contribution really matters.
