2 x 34.5 hour Band 5 posts

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 to join the team in our Emergency Department. Experience of working in an acute setting is essential. This is a fast-paced environment with a varied and unpredictable workload so being able to adapt quickly to an every changing environment is vital. We are a Trauma Unit and receive patients from all specialities including medical, surgical, orthopaedics and paediatrics. Opportunities are available for training and you will be part of a welcoming team. Shift work includes nights, days and weekends. This is a permanent post and there may be a requirement to rotate to Ambulatory Care within Borders General Hospital.

For specific types of post, if you do not have the necessary eligibility to work in the UK, it might be possible (though not guaranteed) to secure sponsorship via a UK Skilled Worker/Health & Care Worker Visa. However, this is only possible if the employer is a licenced Sponsor, and if the post does not fall below the current minimum salary threshold or ‘going rate’.
