Salary Scale: £174.70 to £270.94 per day (MPS/UPS - depending on experience)

GSL Education Hull branch are currently searching for a committed EYFS Teacher to work within a specialist educational setting in Scarborough. We are looking for an enthusiastic early years professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding education while supporting children with a range of learning and developmental needs in a caring and inclusive environment.

As an EYFS Teacher, you will deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that promote children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development. Working closely with teaching assistants and specialist support staff, you will create a safe and nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their individual potential.

Main Responsibilities as an EYFS Teacher:

* Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, adapting activities to meet individual learning needs.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity, exploration, and independence.
* Support children's communication, language, social, emotional, and physical development through structured and play-based learning.
* Assess, monitor, and record children's progress, using observations to inform future planning and targeted support.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, carers, and external professionals to promote positive outcomes for every child.
* Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and safeguarding while encouraging every child to develop confidence and resilience.

EYFS Teacher Minimum Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised Early Years teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching within an EYFS setting with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
* Experience supporting children with SEND or additional learning needs is desirable.
* Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
* A caring, patient, and creative approach to supporting young learners.
* An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
