Store Manager, Retail - Jersey

Our client is seeking to appoint a Retail Manager to lead a sizeable team, to deliver on all business objectives and achieve operational excellence.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maximising profitability, providing high levels of customer service and developing a strongly motivated team of colleagues . You will need to correctly use policies and procedures to control financial aspects of the business associated with achieving set budgets and comply with the terms of all relevant h ealth and s afety legislation .

You will need to motivate the team , be passionate about the brand and the products, provide a courteous and efficient service lead ing by example in terms of service delivery by demonstrat ing that the customer comes first by work ing alongside the team to identify opportunities in all aspects of the store operations in order to driv e sales growth .

This senior position also involves working closely with the HR department to lead, manage and develop staff according to the correct channels and procedures, interview ing and assist ing with the training and development of new team members, a long with ensur ing that any training and development and 1-2-1 coaching is delivered by using all the appropriate training material s available.

In order t o apply for this role you will need to have a minimum of 2 years managerial experience in a customer facing/retail role, be able to demonstrate proven experience of managing a team, be sensitive and understanding, have excellent coaching and interpersonal skills, and have the patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
