Textbook Teachers are seeking SEND Specialists based in, or able to commute to, Louth, Lincolnshire (LN11).

Requirements:

To be apart of the Textbook Team, we require the following:

• – Experience working with children in an education setting (classroom-based is preferable!)
• – A history working with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), either with children or adults
• – An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
• – Qualifications in SEND/Primary or Secondary Teaching/Supporting Learning, or relevant alternatives
• – And equally most important, the passion and enthusiasm for working with children with additional needs!

The Role:

SEND Specialists support individuals with learning and physical disabilities. Within education, these roles may involve providing 1:1 support, where you work closely with a pupil to assist with daily tasks and learning materials, or working as a teacher leading a class and guiding pupils through their developmental journey. No two days are the same, and the work is incredibly rewarding as you witness pupils grow in confidence, gain independence, and thrive through the support and encouragement you provide.
