The post holder will support the Finance Systems Team in maintaining and developing the Agresso Finance System. This will include working closely with Finance process owners to ensure established financial controls are operating effectively, maintenance is monitored and to assist with less complex systems development priorities.
Would suit a recent graduate with relevant degree.
£14.97 per hour.
£1.81 per hour holiday pay.
37 hours per week - Monday to Friday.
Duties and responsibilities
- Supporting the Finance Systems Team in maintaining and developing the University Finance system, Agresso.
- Monitoring system security and data integrity within a framework set down and regularly reviewed by the Finance Systems Team.
- Providing second-line help desk support to University users of Finance systems.
- Assisting members of the Finance Systems team in implementing specific developments to the University Finance system.
- Creating and maintaining access profiles for all system users in line with policy and procedures in place.
- Undertaking other tasks associated with the Migration to Cloud Project as required.
- Subject to opportunities available, wider experience of other areas within the Finance System will also be offered throughout the course of the secondment.
Skills and experience
Essential
- Good IT skills, with the ability to lean new software quickly.
- A good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- The ability to work independently using own initiative and also as part of a team.
