ANZ Tunnelling Lead

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead AECOM's ANZ tunnelling practice, guiding complex underground projects across Australia and New Zealand. You will drive growth, shape strategic pursuits, and provide technical leadership on landmark schemes while developing the next generation of tunnelling professionals.   • Lead growth and strategic pursuits in ANZ tunnelling across major clients Provide technical leadership on landmark tunnelling projects Develop and mentor the next generation of tunnelling professionals Collaborate with multidisciplinary leaders to deliver projects from concept to completion Leverage AECOM's global network to influence outcomes and opportunities Build and strengthen client relationships and industry partnerships Tasks Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar subject (unknown exact degree) Significant experience in major tunnelling and underground infrastructure in Australia Expertise in TBM, mined, shaft, trenchless, cavern, hydro or complex underground works Strong relationships with clients, contractors, and industry partners Reputation for technical excellence and sound engineering judgement Ability to win work as well as deliver it Passion for developing people and building capability Active involvement in industry organisations and professional networks Leadership style that inspires confidence, trust and collaboration Key requirements flexible work arrangements hybrid work options additional annual leave volunteer and representation leave flex public holidays Day 1 onboarding
