Are you looking for a Veterinary Surgeon role in Surrey where you can develop your clinical interests while having the support of an experienced team around you?

We’re recruiting for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, community-focused practice. This is a great opportunity for a vet who values clinical autonomy, professional development and working as part of a supportive local network.

The Role

You’ll enjoy a varied first-opinion caseload, with the freedom to build your confidence and develop areas of clinical interest.

You’ll be supported through regular development conversations, mentorship and access to a wider network of experienced veterinary professionals. Whether you’re considering a certificate, looking to strengthen a particular clinical skill or simply want to keep progressing, there is plenty of scope to shape your career.

The role also offers exposure to a broader range of cases through a nearby 24-hour hospital, giving you access to additional expertise and facilities when required.

Working pattern includes:

  • Full-time position
  • 1:6 weekends 
  • Varied first-opinion small animal caseload

About You

We’re looking for a qualified Veterinary Surgeon (MRCVS) who:

  • Enjoys providing high-quality patient and client care
  • Values both clinical autonomy and teamwork
  • Is keen to develop their clinical skills and interests
  • Enjoys working within a supportive environment
  • Is looking for genuine opportunities for career progression

You may be an experienced vet or someone looking for their next step in practice — what matters most is that you’re enthusiastic about veterinary medicine and keen to continue developing.
