This is not a traditional video editing role. We care about performance: hooks, watch time, thumb-stop rate, CTR, CPA, and ROAS.

The Role

We’re hiring a Performance Video Editor to create fast-paced, conversion-focused ad creatives for Meta, TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other paid social channels.

You’ll work directly with our growth and creative teams to develop, test, and iterate winning ad concepts designed to scale.

You should understand:

• Direct-response advertising
• Consumer psychology
• Viral short-form content
• Performance marketing
• Fast creative iteration and testing
• AI-powered creative production

You should be able to turn raw footage, UGC, creator content, and AI-generated assets into ads that sell.

What You’ll Create

• Talking-head and AI avatar ads
• UGC-style performance creatives
• B-roll-driven ads
• Motion graphics and animated ads
• Live-action + AI hybrid creatives
• AI-generated character and stylized animation concepts
• Longer-form 3–5 minute branded videos and music-driven creative concepts
• Longer-form VSLs
• Multiple ad variations from the same concept for rapid testing

What You’ll Do

• Edit high-converting paid social ads across Meta, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
• Generate AI video assets, scenes, avatars, voiceovers, and visual concepts
• Create direct-response creatives optimized for conversion and ROAS
• Develop strong hooks, pacing, captions, sound design, and CTAs
• Produce and iterate multiple creative variations quickly
• Work closely with media buyers and the growth team to improve performance
• Analyze winning creatives and identify repeatable patterns
• Stay ahead of emerging creative and AI trends

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years editing ads for DTC or e-commerce brands
• Strong portfolio of performance-driven ad creatives
• Experience with Meta, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and paid social
• Strong understanding of direct-response marketing
• Excellent instincts for hooks, pacing, retention, and storytelling
• Strong experience using generative AI tools for video, images, avatars, voiceovers, scripting, animation, or creative workflows
• Ability to combine traditional editing with AI-generated assets seamlessly
• Ability to move fast and handle high creative output
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar tools
• Proficiency in  Higgsfield, ElevenLabs, Midjourney, Suno, Heygen or similar tools.

We especially want someone who uses  multiple AI platforms and understands their strengths and weaknesses — not someone who relies on one tool's default style.
