Candidates must have a Clinical degree in Medicine (MBBS/MB ChB) and a current licence to practice in the UK. They should show a commitment to developing as a medical educator across a range of subject areas (with appropriate training). In addition, candidates should have experience of setting and marking assessments of various types, with clear evidence of organisational, administrative and IT skills along with a sound understanding of quality assurance and enhancement issues, procedures and practices. Professional qualifications such as a recognised Higher Education teaching qualification or Higher Education Academy Fellowship would be advantageous. About us
