History Teacher – Instil Academic Rigour and Historical Scholarship in a Dynamic Inner-City School – Tower Hamlets
A dynamic , inclusive secondary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a skilled History Teacher committed to driving academic rigour from January 2026.
- History Specialist required from January 2026
- Tower Hamlets-based school with an inclusive ethos and a focus on rigorous historical study
- Ideal for a teacher who wants to focus on high-impact delivery and advanced source analysis .
You'll teach History across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE), with a significant focus on rigorous analytical skills. The role is supported by a centralised planning structure, ensuring a manageable workload , allowing you to concentrate solely on engaging and effective classroom delivery.
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS and a degree in History or a relevant Humanities field
- Proven ability to deliver engaging lessons to a diverse, inner-city cohort
- Commitment to upholding high standards of academic rigour and source analysis
- Capacity for strong classroom management in a dynamic setting
