Nursing Associate for Children and young People's Community Nursing Team. The Nursing Associate will support service delivery with responsive nursing skills for the patients under the care of the Nursing team to promote hospital admission and care closer to home. Main duties of the job
Deliver nursing interventions at home and in clinic settings for CYP within the Bolton area Working within the scope of NMC Standards of Care to deliver compassionate, safe effective care and support to Children and Young People (CYP) and care providers. To safely undertake the following procedures to meet the patient's nursing needs, these include; undertaking routine procedures including venepuncture, recording and interpreting vital signs, pressure area care, wound care, NG tube and gastrostomy care. Identify and report any changes in patient's condition to a registered nurse. Work responsively to meet the needs of the CYP to prevent hospital admission, offering care closer to home. About us

Job responsibilities
1. Work within the scope of NMC Standards of Care to deliver compassionate, safe effective care and support to Children and Young People (CYP) and care providers.
2. Act as the CYPs advocate to promote and deliver the highest standard of care, ensuring all fundamentals of care are addressed, and current, relevant policies and procedures are adhered to
3. Proactively safeguard the welfare of all CYP and adults and actively adhere to safeguarding procedures and policies. Undertake Level 3 Childrens Safeguarding Training.
4. To safely undertake the following procedures to meet the patients nursing needs which include; undertaking routine procedures including venepuncture, recording and interpreting vital signs, pressure area care, wound care, NG tube and gastrostomy care. Identify and report any changes in patients condition to a registered nurse.
5. Work responsively to meet the needs of the CYP to prevent hospital admission, offering care closer to home.
