Our client is a well-established Chambers and Legal 500 recognised firm with an excellent reputation for client care and employee development. Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to recruit a Legal Secretary to support its successful Private Client, Probate, Tax & Truststeam based in Farnham.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal support professional seeking a varied role within a friendly, collaborative team, with the flexibility of hybrid working and genuine long-term career prospects.

The Role
Working closely with partners and fee earners, you will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support across a broad range of Private Clientmatters including:
- Wills
- Probate and Estate Administration
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Trusts
- Tax and succession planning
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, formatting and amending legal documents and correspondence
- Audio and copy typing
- Managing diaries, appointments and meetings
- Opening new client files and maintaining the case management system
- Liaising with clients, executors, financial advisers and third parties
- Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally
- Supporting fee earners with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Assisting with billing and general department administration where required
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Private Client Legal Secretary, Probate Secretary or Legal Assistant
- Experience supporting a Private Client, Wills & Probate or Trusts department
- Excellent typing and document production skills (around 60 wpm or above preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and case management systems
- Outstanding organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- A professional, proactive and client-focused approach
