HGV Class 1 Driver - Nightshift - Double-Manned Trunking - Dalkeith / Newtongrange
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Dalkeith / Newtongrange .
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for ongoing nightshift work with excellent rates of pay and long-term opportunities.
Working as part of a two-person crew, you will complete trunking runs between distribution centres, ensuring goods are transported safely, securely, and efficiently.
This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as an LGV Driver , Category C+E Driver , or Trunking Driver .
Rates of Pay: £19.10 per hour
Shift Pattern:
* Nightshift
* Start times between 5:30pm and 6:30pm Overtime: * Overtime paid after 8 hours Benefits: Your benefits as an HGV Class 1 Driver are: * Weekly pay

* Immediate starts available Day-to-Day Duties: As an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will work: * Completing double-manned trunking runs between distribution centres
* Carrying out vehicle safety checks before and after each shift
* Ensuring all goods are transported safely and securely
* Completing all required paperwork accurately
* Following Drivers' Hours and Tachograph Regulations
* Working closely with your driving partner to complete deliveries efficiently
* Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism at all times Essential Skills: To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will need: * A valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence
* A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Previous Class 1 driving experience
* Good communication skills
* Reliable, punctual, and safety conscious
* Ability to work well as part of a team Desirable Experience: * Previous trunking experience is advantageous but not essential Training: * Full paid site induction provided
