We are currently working with a Top-tier Legal 500 ranked firm in Bristol that is looking for an Employment Legal Director/Partner to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning and supportive firm, and they are seeking someone with outstanding technical expertise, strong leadership, and business development skills, who is eager to build and lead a team within their vibrant and growing office.

Your responsibilities will include:

Lead and develop the employment law team, contributing to the overall growth of the practice.Advise on a wide range of employment law matters, including both contentious and non-contentious work.Drive business development and play a key role in winning new work and expanding the client base.Represent the firm at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members, supporting their professional growth.Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments and offices to deliver seamless client service.Ensure compliance with professional standards, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements.Contribute to the strategic planning and direction of the employment law practice.

The successful candidate:

Qualified solicitor with significant post-qualification experience in employment law (typically 7+ years PQE).Strong technical expertise in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters.Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.Demonstrated experience in business development and winning new work.Leadership experience, with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop junior lawyers.Commercially aware with a strategic mindset and the ability to contribute to practice growth.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with clients and internal teams.Able to work collaboratively across departments and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
