The post holder will work as part of a team of registered nurses, nursingassociates, health care support workers and student nurses in delivering safe effective care to patients within the Cancer Inpatient wards working incollaboration with the medical and wider MDT teams, ensuring a high-quality service to patients. Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide care to patients within the cancer inpatient wards on with the guidance and support of senior colleagues. As skills and competencies are developed there may be occasion when you would take charge of the unit. The post holder will always act as a role model ensuring safe and effective care is provided to all. The post holder will actively participate in meeting patient needs within the service to agreed standards and participate in audit activities / data collection. The post holder will be expected to act as a practice assessor / supervisor to students / learners allocated to the unit. Responsibilities
