Strategic Communications & Delivery Lead Family Hubs, Calderdale Do you want to play a key role in shaping how families, professionals and communities access clear, joined-up information about services that matter? Are you someone who can bring people together, create clarity across complex systems, and make communications simple, accessible and effective? We have an exciting opportunity to join Northpoint as a Strategic Communications & Delivery Lead, supporting the Calderdale Family Hubs partnership. This role is central to coordinating communications across multiple organisations, ensuring that information is consistent, accessible and aligned with local priorities. You’ll work closely with partners across health, education and the voluntary sector to improve how services are communicated, helping reduce duplication and create a more joined-up experience for families and professionals. You will join us on a part time basis (28 hours per week, 0.8 FTE) with a salary of £34,920 – £40,150 FTE (pro rata) Why us? We offer: 28 hours per week (0.8) 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata) Up to 3 discretionary leave days at Christmas Auto-enrolment pension scheme Opportunities for development and collaboration across partners A supportive, inclusive and purpose-driven working environment What you will be doing as our Strategic Communications & Delivery Lead This is a varied and partnership-facing role where you will: Provide leadership and coordination for communications across the Family Hubs partnership Develop and oversee a clear, shared approach to communications, including campaigns, channels and content priorities Establish and embed effective content governance, including standards, approvals and review processes Coordinate and improve the quality and accessibility of public-facing content across websites and channels Lead on the planning and delivery of communications campaigns aligned to programme priorities Work closely with partners to reduce duplication and ensure consistent messaging across the system Develop communications products such as briefings, toolkits, presentations and social content Support engagement with communities, ensuring communications reflect lived experience and diverse needs Monitor impact and provide insight on communications activity, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement What are we looking for in our ideal Strategic Communications & Delivery Lead? We’re looking for someone who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, and who is confident working across organisational boundaries. You will bring: Significant experience in a communications role, including setting direction and coordinating delivery across multiple stakeholders Strong understanding of digital content, accessibility and user-focused communication approaches Experience of working with governance processes such as content standards, approvals and review cycles Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear messages Ability to build strong relationships and influence without formal authority A proactive, organised and solution-focused approach, with strong attention to deatil Confidence using insight, feedback and data to improve communications and demonstrate impact A commitment to inclusive, accessible and values-led communication This is a highly collaborative role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with partners, bringing people together and creating clarity in complex systems.
