A secondary school in Watford is seeking a Geography ECT to join its collaborative Humanities faculty.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 Geography, supported by an experienced Head of Department and a clear ECT induction programme. You will have access to shared resources, mentoring, protected non-contact time and regular developmental feedback.
The role is ideal for an ECT keen to develop strong classroom practice while delivering engaging lessons on physical and human geography.
The School
This 11–18 school serves around 1,300 students and is known for its clear expectations, inclusive ethos and strong behaviour systems. Humanities subjects are well resourced and benefit from consistent curriculum planning.
Staff describe the culture as supportive, organised and aspirational, with leadership that prioritises staff wellbeing and workload management.
