Document Reception Officer
Location: Newport, Wales
Pay Rate: £14.42 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (with some flexibility)
Contract: Full-Time
Working Pattern: Hybrid working available following successful completion of training (minimum 2 days per week in the office)

We are looking for an organised, detail-oriented and customer-focused Document Reception Officer to join our busy and supportive team in Newport.

The Role
As a Document Reception Officer, you will play a key role in the processing and administration of incoming requests and documentation. Your duties will include:
- Processing and recording payments received
- Linking fees and payments to requests using our finance system
- Data entry and maintenance of accurate records
- Sending professional email correspondence to customers and stakeholders
- Handling telephone enquiries and providing assistance where required
- Opening, sorting and distributing incoming post
- Supporting the wider team with administrative tasks as needed
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and within required timescales

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive, professional and customer-focused approach
- Previous administration experience is desirable but not essential
