We are seeking an SC Cleared Test Analyst to support the delivery of complex, cloud-hosted data solutions within a highly regulated environment.
Role OverviewThis role is ideal for a tester with strong data testing and Informatica experience, combined with a solid understanding of cloud-based delivery across AWS and Azure.
The successful candidate will work closely with developers, data engineers, business analysts, and delivery teams to ensure the quality, integrity, and reliability of data-centric solutions.
While the primary focus is functional and integration testing within data environments, candidates with performance testing expertise will be highly regarded., Test Analysis & DesignReview business, functional, technical, and data requirementsDevelop: Test scenarios / Test cases / Test execution plansEnsure traceability between requirements and test coverage
Test Execution & ReportingExecute functional and integration testing activitiesRecord and manage defects through to resolutionProduce clear and accurate test evidence and reportingWork collaboratively with: Developers/ Data Engineers/ Business Analysts Delivery teams.
Informatica (Primary Requirement)Proven hands-on experience with InformaticaExperience supporting:ETL development and validationData integration testingData transformation verificationPlatform configuration and testing activitiesStrong understanding of:Source-to-target mappingsData lineageData reconciliation techniques
Data Project ExperienceDemonstrable experience working on data-focused programmes and projectsExperience testing: Data pipelines/ ETL processes / Data migration activities Data integration solutionsAbility to:Validate complex data transformationsIdentify data quality issuesVerify business and technical data requirementsStrong understanding of:Data quality assuranceData validation methodologiesEnd-to-end integration testing
Cloud Platforms - AWS & AzurePractical experience working within cloud-hosted environments using:Amazon Web Services (AWS) / Microsoft AzureUnderstanding of:Cloud deployment modelsTest environment managementCloud-hosted data servicesMonitoring and operational considerations impacting testingAbility to support testing across distributed cloud environments
Highly Desirable Skills
Performance TestingExperience with tools such as: LoadRunner & Performance Center.
Experience PerformingLoad, Stress, Soak and Endurance testing/ Performance benchmarking.
Performance Monitoring & AnalysisExperience monitoring: Web applications/ APIs/ Database platforms.
