CareerMakers Recruitment is currently looking for Operatives for one of our clients based in Leeds, LS27. Job Role:
- Load and position steel components into the CNC machine.
- Operate the machine using the designated controls and start/stop buttons.
- Monitor the machine during production to ensure it is operating correctly.
- Remove finished steel components and place them in the appropriate area.
- Carry out basic visual and dimensional quality checks.
- Follow production instructions, drawings, and workplace procedures.
- Keep the machine and work area clean and organised.
- Report machine faults, damaged materials, or quality issues to a supervisor.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Maintain a steady production rate while ensuring safety and product quality.
- Monday - Friday
- 6pm - 6am OR 6am - 6pm
