Apprenticeship/Trainee Accountant

Accounts Trainee | AAT or ACA Apprenticeship | Dorking, Surrey | £18,000–£21,000

THE ROLE

As an Accounts Trainee, you'll gain hands-on experience across all core areas of accountancy from day one, including:

• Financial accounting — recording transactions and assisting with financial statements, budgets and forecasts
• Auditing — preparing audit work, gathering evidence and reviewing financial statements under supervision
• Taxation — supporting with VAT, PAYE and NIC returns and fiscal valuations
• Client liaison — attending client premises and working directly with their teams
• General administration — correspondence, file maintenance and other duties as required

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• A-Level student or university graduate
• Keen to study towards AAT or ACA qualification
• Enthusiastic, organised and eager to learn
• Comfortable in an office-based role

THE DETAILS
Location: Dorking, Surrey (fully office based)
Hours: 9am – 5pm
AAT pathway: £18,000–£19,000 + discretionary bonus (salary reviewed after year 1)
ACA pathway: £19,500–£21,000 + discretionary bonus (salary reviewed after year 1)
