Please note: at this stage, the role is open only to colleagues currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts, the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Medway Community Healthcare. Nursing vacancies are also open to Student Nurses and Newly Qualified Nurses.

We are recruiting for Facilities Operatives (cleaning) at Deal Hospital. The posts involve working an average of 25 hours per week, on a 2 week rota and working alternate weekends; shift times may vary due to service needs, so a degree of flexibility is required. Experience within the Commercial Cleaning industry is welcomed.

Your hourly rate in this role will be £12.92 Weekend and Bank Holidays will attract an enhanced hourly pay.

This is primarily a hands-on cleaning position where you will learn all the back-ground skills and knowledge to enable you to complete the role, e.g. enhanced and periodic clean training, NHS National Cleaning standards, completion of paperwork, equipment training, COSHH, waste management and basic catering tasks
