Year 2 Primary Teacher Opportunity

The successful Primary Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, supporting pupils as they consolidate key skills in literacy, numeracy and independent learning before moving into Key Stage 2.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the Year 2 curriculum
• Build strong foundations in reading, writing and mathematics
• Use assessment to identify next steps and accelerate pupil progress
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and families

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a Primary Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management
• Has a secure understanding of the KS1 curriculum
• Is committed to providing an engaging and inclusive learning experience
