IB MYP/DP Physics teacher

International Sharing School Lisbon, located in Portugal, is a vibrant and inclusive international school committed to fostering global citizenship and academic excellence. We are currently seeking a passionate IB MYP/DP Physics Teacher to join our dedicated Science department. This position offers the opportunity to teach high/secondary school students within the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP).

The successful applicant will have the flexibility and experience to teach their subject - with a very high degree of proficiency - at MYP and DP level. The ability to offer Chemistry at MYP level, teach TOK and/or support students in CAS or Extended Essay will be a significant advantage, as will experience of teaching pupils whose first language is not English.

All ISS teachers will be expected to play a full role in the school’s co-curricular and pastoral programmes, with a suitably balanced allocation of activities, sport and supervision duties.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Language or related field (minimum requirement)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with IB curriculum exposure
- Strong knowledge of IB MYP and DP Physics frameworks and assessment criteria
- Ability to design engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
- Excellent classroom management skills with a student-centered approach
- Proficient communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
- Competence in integrating technology into teaching practices
