Interim VAT Consultant (FTSE-100), Canary Wharf, to £450 per day
£300 - £450 per dayA FTSE-100 business based in Canary Wharf is currently seeking a VAT consultant for a 9 month contract, bridging over and implementing the VAT function to a newly acquired business. This green-field role will require technical expertise along with a sleeves-rolled up attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of VAT compliance process, ensuring best-practice is implemented and mapping the ideal compliance flow
- VAT registrations for various jurisdictions
- End of month reconciliation
- Continuous project work will make up the majority of this role
Requirements:
- ACA/CTA/ACCA or equivalent (HMRC trained good as well)
- A strong and proven background in VAT with knowledge of current and future VAT legislation
- Experienced in mapping out best VAT practice
- SAP experience bonus but not required
