A supportive and inclusive primary school in Lambeth (SW2) is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their newly established autism provision from September.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support to children with autism and complex needs within the EYFS setting
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and communication development
- Assist in delivering tailored learning activities to meet individual needs
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
- Work closely with class teachers, SENCO, and external professionals
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN (Autism preferred)
- Experience or confidence working with EYFS pupils
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Competitive weekly pay of £545
