Associate Technologist (Bioresources)

This role contributes to the sustainable growth and development of our products to meet the needs of our customers. As a member of the Technical Department the role supports the full lifecycle of our products including assessment of market need, development (including piloting), standards implementation and incorporation into capital delivery. Once the product is established the role provides technical support to the wider business including tendering, projects, design and after sales.

What you'll be doing:

  • Site Surveys and feasibility studies for a variety of product/application.

  • Planning, undertaking and reporting of pilot/trial studies within the UK.

  • Monthly reporting on status of product/application developments.

  • Contribute to our annual plan and 5-yearly R&D strategy with product/application.

  • Support for the wider sales and marketing team, including direct contact with both existing and potential customers.

  • Liaison with colleagues in commercial and tendering to ensure offers are suited to client requirements while aligned to company expectations.

  • Technical support to the multidisciplinary Design Team for development and project realisation of capital schemes.

  • Technical support to Projects to support capital delivery through to completion.

  • Technical support for Aftermarket (Hire, Parts & Servicing) including aftersales support.

  • Support with MEICA-P commissioning for both pilot/trial and capital delivery.

Who we are looking for:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.

  • Previous experience with pilots, trials and Research and Development activities is beneficial.

  • Develop a sound working knowledge of the company's technologies (training will be provided).

  • Safety and quality training related to site work (training can be provided, subject to requirements).

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong analytical abilities would be highly desirable.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring effective management of multiple priorities.

  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
