Senior Full Stack Developer

A unique opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a well-funded early-stage technology company. Initially working remotely, with plans for a hybrid London office, you will play a key role in developing a cutting-edge software platform, working across the front end, back end, APIs and data-driven workflows. Taking ownership of features throughout the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation through to testing and release, you will work within a highly collaborative engineering team that encourages autonomy, innovation and the opportunity to make a genuine impact.

Due to the nature of some client projects, you must be willing and eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance. You can join the team and work on other commercial projects while your clearance application is progressing.

Location: London office, hybrid, minimum 2 days a week

Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum

Requirements for Senior Full Stack Developer:

• Strong commercial experience developing full-stack applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Python, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Docker and AWS
  
• Commercial experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development practices
  
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced start-up environment where you can take ownership, influence direction, and have a genuine impact on the company's success
  
• You must be eligible to obtain UK SC Security Clearance due to the nature of some projects (this usually means you have been a UK resident for the past 5 years, have a clean criminal record, etc.) Existing SC Clearance would be a benefit
  
• Experience with any of the following would be beneficial: Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, Go, Amazon CloudWatch, automated testing frameworks
  

Responsibilities for Senior Full Stack Developer:

• Design, develop and deliver high-quality software features using React, Next.js, TypeScript, Python and PostgreSQL
  
• Collaborate with the Platform team to support deployments, infrastructure and release activities
  
• Design, build and maintain RESTful APIs and produce clear, accurate OpenAPI documentation
  
• Write clean, well-structured and maintainable code, following software engineering best practices
  
• Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvements across the engineering team
