About The Role

Would you like a job that allows you to help people with learning disabilities live within the local community?

We have an exciting opportunity within our Community team service in Inverness, where you duties will involve the day-to-day support to several people living within their own tenancies in Inverness. A typical day in our Community team involves assisting people with learning disabilities to carry out household tasks, cooking, shopping, attend social groups, involvement in the community, social activities, visit friends and family, and to support to plan their weeks to make sure that they do everything they want to do to their own perspectives. You’ll be working with a closeknit team of experienced and dedicated support workers throughout communities in Inverness, working under the local manager to ensure that everyone’s expectations are met according to their own person-centred needs. You’ll be involved in support planning, team meetings, regular supervision, holiday planning, and ensuring that everyone is as safeguarded as possible and able to explore any opportunities that arise.

Typical shifts in our Community team start at 8:30am, and finish at 8pm, with days split up between full shift, morning shift, afternoon shift and evening shift, or any combination of all of the above.
