Role: KS2 Teacher / Full time / Part time (Monday & Tuesday)
Salary Range: MPS
This vibrant primary is looking for two KS2 Teachers for September. The role can be either full time or part time with 2 days per week (Mondays & Tuesdays).
Requirements for a Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher
1. Educational Qualifications
- Minimum Requirement : Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) : Essential
2. Experience
- Entry-Level : Experience through student teaching placements.
- Preferred : At least 1-2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting, particularly within Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11).
3. Skills and Abilities
- Subject Knowledge : Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum, including core subjects like Mathematics, English, Science, and Humanities.
- Classroom Management : Effective strategies for managing a classroom, maintaining discipline, and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Assessment and Evaluation : Ability to assess students’ progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback and planning for differentiated instruction.
- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Technological Proficiency : Competence in using educational technology and integrating it into the curriculum.
